We are a small business that operates in and around Swindon, Wiltshire and Hampshire. Our main objective is to provide low cost web development services to small to medium sized organisations. We believe every business and event should have a website whatever your budget.
We are a web development company that was founded in 2002 and started professionally in 2005.
Since we started, we have been continually providing excellent and reliable web design and software development services for small to medium sized companies. We are proud to say that as of yet, we have not lost a single client. Every one of our customers have been pleased with our work and have always used us as their first point of call for almost all IT related services.
Our Logo & Name
Sometimes there is confusion with our name and logo. Our company name is Opal Creations - with a capital "O" and a capital "C", however our logo features all lowercase letters; this is intentional. We used to be called OPAL Creations Wiltshire which then changed to Opal Creations Wiltshire and finally shortened to Opal Creations. You will find both us and our clients will frequently refer to Opal Creations as just "Opal".
The name Opal Creations came from a quick brainstorm session one day whilst we were trying to think of a name to call a sample product for Land of Leather. The "Opal" must have come from something we were looking at, at the time, and the "Creations" seemed suitable due to the nature of the business. Originally we included the term "Wiltshire" as there was another company entitled "Opal Creations". Fortunately for us this company dissolved and we can now use the preferred name. Before May 2012 we had found our place on the web with "opal-creations.co.uk". In 2012 we acquired the domain name "opalcreations.co.uk" which is a big deal for us as having to explain what a hyphen is to our non tech savvy customers was a challenge in itself. We also own several other domain names including "opal.cc" which we use primarily to shorten our email addresses; for example, [email protected] is the same as [email protected] and [email protected].
The logo goes through revisions every now and again however the Opal gem remains. It will always be a blue and green icon. We are now happy with the logo and will stick with it for as long as possible.

To provide affordable IT services for small to medium companies. We believe all companies should have a good website regardless of their budget. We want to bring enterprise level products to the smaller establishments
Opal Creations operates on a personal basis. That means that you are in complete contact with any part of the team you wish. We do not hide our developers away! That means if you have any issues or questions you do not have to be put through to customer services, await a developer to respond to the service representative and then await a response from the rep to yourself; you can speak straight to a developer if you need to.
